How to contact Coinbase support

Coinbase Help, the published U.S. phone line, and what to do if someone calls you first.

Start at help.coinbase.com or in the Coinbase app. Do not use a phone number from a search ad.

Start the conversation yourself

Coinbase tells customers to reach support from help.coinbase.com or from the Help path in the app, where you can chat or request a call. On its own site, Coinbase publishes 1-888-908-7930 as the U.S. support number and says other numbers found online are not Coinbase. Confirm the digits on help.coinbase.com or coinbase.com before you dial.

Coinbase also says its phone support does not make outgoing calls, even from that number. If someone calls you and claims to be Coinbase, hang up and open Help yourself. Coinbase says it will not ask for your password, a two-factor code, or remote access to your computer.

What to have ready

  • The email on the Coinbase account, which you type into Coinbase’s own form.
  • The date, the asset or dollar amount, and what you expected to happen.
  • A screenshot of an error, if Coinbase’s form allows an upload. Crop out any code or barcode.
  • A written case or chat reference before you close the window.

Describe the date and the amount. Do not send a password, a one-time code, or a recovery phrase.

A Northline ticket is a different desk

Get help on this page reaches Northline Guides. Coinbase does not see it, and a reply from us does not move crypto or unlock a Coinbase login. We can help you word the note. You still send it from Coinbase Help. Crypto transfers are often irreversible, so do not send assets to an address a stranger gives you while you wait.

This page is education from Northline Guides. It is not a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any crypto asset, and it is not published by Coinbase. Crypto prices can fall to zero. Crypto is not a bank deposit, and a transfer on a blockchain is often irreversible. Steps change. Use Get help if you want Northline to explain the screen. That request does not open a case at Coinbase.

Open a ticket with our education desk, or ask for a consultation on account setup. We explain the steps and point you to the firm’s own support. We do not take logins, place trades, hold money, or hold crypto.

Answer a few short questions. You will get a Northline ticket number on this page, and a reply from our desk in 3–4 hours. This does not open a case at a broker or a crypto exchange, and it is not a promise of profit.
